INCIDENTS
On Tuesday, November 3rd the South River Fire Department and Fairfield Rescue Squad were dispatched for an RV on fire at the rest area in Fairfield. An engine company arrived on-scene to find heavy fire & smoke showing from the RV and a Jeep that it was pulling. A Tanker, second engine, and response vehicle arrived shortly after providing additional water and manpower. There was about $150,000 damage. Photo By Ben Wilmer, Chief 7, South River FD.
